As the NFL approaches week 7 of the regular season, now is as good a time as any to get some predictions on the board, we’ve all had chance to watch the teams in action, so it’s time to take a look at some of the upcoming fixtures and figure out what’s what, there is still a LONG way to go in the season but let’s have a little bit of fun with it NFL regular season eh?
Have you had a chance to take in the fixtures? Find out where your team are playing this week? Any particular fixtures jumping off the page? If you’re about ready, it’s time to take a look at some NFL odds and lines for game week 7. While we won’t be taking a look at EVERY fixture, you can bet a big chunk will be looked at, so let’s start at the top.
Table of Contents
Denver Broncos at the Cleveland Browns (-4.5) – Friday 21st October, 1:20am (BST)
With Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt missing multiple weeks through injury and Baker Mayfield with a shoulder injury being added to a growing list of injuries for the Browns, it’s safe to say that the Broncos will have a chance here, though it can be said that they’ve struggled against the passing plays over the last few weeks in back to back losses. Predicting a rather tight win for the Browns in this one.
Atlanta Falcons (-2.5) at Miami Dolpins – Sunday 24th October, 6pm (BST)
I’ll be up front with this one, I have the Dolphins narrowly winning this one at home, reason being Atlanta are coming back off a bye week following three straight one score games and a pretty abysmal defeat in London. Providing the Dolphins can improve their running game, they take a win here.
New York Jets at New England Patriots (-7) – Sunday 24th October, 6pm (BST)
While it’s pretty unlikely that either the Jets or the Patriots are going to be able to catch the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East, there is still a lot to play for here, and even though Zach Wilson has been struggling and Mac Jones has thrown interceptions, we still have the Patriots beating the Jets in this one.
Kansas City Chiefs (-4.5) at Tennessee Titans – Sunday 24th October, 6pm (BST)
The Titans don’t really have a lot of rest before this game against the Chiefs and it’s safe to say that both of these teams allow far too many passing yards, the general consensus is that star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and veteran Ryan Tannehill are both going to have a field day here, plenty of points to be scored. The chiefs end up taking the win here!
Carolina Panthers (-3) at New York Giants – Sunday 24th October, 6pm (BST)
The Panthers aren’t looking too good right now, sitting on a 3 loss streak having turned the ball over fairly frequently through that streak, however the Giants aren’t exactly on flying form at home. This game isn’t going to be an enjoyable experience for the fans involved. That’s for sure, so uh, let’s toss a coin, heads Giants win, tails Panthers win? Heads it is, Giants win.
Detroit Lions at Los Angeles Rams (-15.5) – Sunday 24th October, 9:05pm (BST)
The Lions will be seriously keen to finally get a win on the board this week, however it won’t necessarily be as straightforward as that. They travel to Los Angeles where they will face former quarterback Matthew Stafford. Not only that but the Rams just CRUISED to their fifth win of the season after crushing the Giant last week 38-11. There’s only going to be one outcome here and that’s another big performance from the Rams. Rams win, comfortably.
New Orleans Saints (-5.5) at Seattle Seahawks – Tuesday 26th October, 1:05am (BST)
Last but not least, the Saints at the Seahawks. The Saints are coming off the back of a bye week, giving them plenty of time to get ready for this game however they’re 2-1 away from home. The Seahawks will be without Russell Wilson, who is out for several weeks unfortunately for them. It’s true that the Saints aren’t exactly stamping their mark on the NFL this season, but do they have what it takes to move their record to 4-2 for the season? Yeah, I think so. Saints win, narrowly.
There you have it, that’s a brief look at some of the upcoming fixtures in game week 7, you’re into betting right? Are you following the predictions here?
